Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking Developers to work on a broad range of projects. Our work is interdisciplinary, so a wide variety of majors and work experience are acceptable. This position supports clients by transforming data and automating processes, mostly relating to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements. A successful candidate will have a passion for problem solving and a desire to learn and adopt new technologies to meet project requirements. Because this role involves work for Federal clients along with state and local governments and private-sector clients, US citizenship is a requirement for this job.
The position also requires work in both self-directed and team-based collaboration scenarios where critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. The person in this role will have responsibility for the success of small projects focused on solution development or development tasks within larger projects.
To ensure success in this role, you should have a strong working knowledge of Power Platform, including Canvas Power Apps, Model-Driven Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Portals and Microsoft 365 services, as well as the fundamentals of ETL processes, database design, and object-oriented programming.
This is a client-facing position; effective communication is as important as technical skill. The person in this position will work with multiple clients at once, and though this is a full-time salaried position, will be required to accurately allocate their daily time worked to the appropriate projects.
