A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Software Engineer in San Diego, CA. This position is with one of the worlds leading medical technology companies!

Location: In office and one day remote.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Software Engineer Compensation:

• The pay for this position is $97.88 per hour.
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
• Contract-to-hire potential based on attendance, performance, and business needs

Software Engineer Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, enhance, and sustain software systems within a cross-functional team environment, ensuring adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.

· Demonstrate strong working knowledge of software engineering practices, techniques, and processes, along with an understanding of technology trends and domain expertise.

· Understand and analyze requirements for individual components and translate analysis results into design solutions that address specific needs.

· Develop modules with moderate guidance, applying knowledge and skills to a variety of standard activities.

Software Engineer Knowledge and Skills:

· 5+ years of experience in software development.

· Demonstrated understanding of embedded, real-time, multi-threaded software design and development.

· Proficiency in C++/C programming.

· Experience with QNX OS is a plus.

· Experience in computer networking is an added advantage.

· Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with development in a process-oriented/regulated environment and adherence to a quality management system.

Software Engineer Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. ****
