    Job Description

    This role is part of our “Titles and Metadata” organization, a team that builds and maintains global solutions focused on providing efficient and accurate access to NBCU’s expansive catalogue of titles and their descriptive metadata; including cast and crew information, languages, translations, content types, and more. Our group is collaborative, innovative, diverse and focused on providing high-value, scalable features that enable downstream products and teams across film, television, entertainment, news, sports, and more.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of related experience in software development, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and/or training in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Experience with ASP.NET and/or C#.NET
    • Familiar with MS SQL server
    • Experience with AWS or other Windows-based cloud hosting services.
    • Experience creating and/or using RESTful web services.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Familiarity with Python.
    • Familiar with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, and/or Scheduling.
    • Experience on both Windows and Linux environments
    • Experience with Solr or similar search technologies
    • Prior experience with Ping SSO / Entra ID
    • Experience with Hashicorp Packer / Terraform

    • Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
