    What you'll Do

    • Build, invent, and maintain robust software applications using OOP principles and construction patterns like SOLID, DI, and strategy/factory/repository.
    • Develop and integrate APIs, focusing on REST/GraphQL, including pagination, rate limits, retries, and error budgets.
    • Apply Docker for containerization and automate local development environments.
    • Manage CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and build artifacts to ensure seamless deployments.
    • Implement and maintain comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
    • Adhere to security guidelines, such as secrets management and dependency management.
    • Work with cloud and data services, balancing cost and performance for efficient solutions.
    • Address concurrency and performance issues, ensuring efficient parallel processing and resource management.
    • Collaborate effectively through clear PRs, code reviews, and issue tracking using Jira.
    • Operate and maintain production instances using Kubernetes and GitOps or equivalent experience, managing monitoring, logging, and incident response.

    What you need to succeed

    • BS degree in computer science or a related field is required, or equivalent experience.
    • 1-3 years of professional experience
    • Established background in OOP and architectural patterns.
    • Proficient in one or more modern OOP programming languages: Javascript or PHP
    • Strong skills in API development, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
    • Solid understanding of testing strategies, security fundamentals, and cloud services such as AWS.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, consistently attentive to detail.
    • Preferred: Previous experience working with the Adobe Commerce/Magento OS e-commerce platform.
    • Preferred: Expertise in data migration, ETL processes, and SQL/database management.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $93,200 -- $179,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
