As we scale, we're looking for a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDE) to deeply integrate intelligent automations with our customers and internal operating teams.
This role sits at the critical intersection of software engineering, operations, and product deployment. FDEs at Landmark move fast to solve messy, real-world problems—deploying AI features, building internal tools, and stitching together systems that help residents, property managers, and owners experience better living.

Rapid Prototyping & Delivery: Build scrappy but scalable tools and automations that make immediate impact for residents, operators, and our field teams.
System Integration: Link structured and unstructured data from disparate sources, including property databases, maintenance records, resident/owner communications, spreadsheets, and more to unlock new insights and actions.
Operational Debugging: Embed with operations, identify pain points, and ship high-leverage solutions to unblock teams. You might shadow a property onboarding, observe leasing workflows, or dive into internal processes to find and fix bottlenecks.
Integration + Deployment: From prototype to production you'll own your software end-to-end: write code, deploy it, measure impact, and iterate fast. Expect to touch everything from CLI scripts to frontend dashboards and containerized backend services.
AI Feature Development: Develop AI-driven applications and features that automate and augment property management processes across multiple systems [e.g. automating customer inquiry handling, maintenance request coordination, labor dispatching, leasing and marketing optimizations, and internal reporting].
Frontier Exploration: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI [LLMs, tools, frameworks] and proactively bring new ideas and experimental prototypes to the team. We encourage following your curiosity to keep Landmark at the cutting edge of AI-powered automations.
