    We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the Spring of 2023. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

    As a software engineering intern, you will gain experience including, but not limited to activities and tasks listed below:

    • Design and develop cloud-based software applications and components in various programming languages

    • Participate in Agile/Scrum software development process

    • Analyze software requirements and create solutions matching these requirements

    • Perform code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, and system risk analysis

    • Evaluating and identifying new technologies for use by the software development team

    • Work on user interface and/or backend components based on your skills and interests

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficiency with C# or Java for backend development

    • Proficiency with ReactJS and JavaScript for UI development

    • Understanding of object-oriented design and analysis (OOD and OOA)

    • Experience with software development principles and processes

    • Familiarity with cloud-based tools and architecture

    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    • Self-driven and proactive

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

    • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

    • COVID-19 VACCINES WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL NEWLY HIRED CARRIER U.S. SALARIED EMPLOYEES

    EDUCATION

    • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study

    • GPA must be greater than or equal to a 3.0 GPA

    • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
