Qualified candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, possess an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance in order to perform this work. Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful award of the associated contract, anticipated to begin in August, 2025.

Our team supports the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) in its mission to provide a mechanism for inter-service efforts to improve the databases and analytical methodologies the Joint force uses to determine non-nuclear weapons effectiveness. JWS is a key component of this mission, as it is designed to support U.S. and allied military planners in selecting the most effective munitions and delivery tactics to achieve specific target effects. Its primary purpose is to provide a standardized, scientifically-based tool for weaponeering — the process of matching weapons to targets to produce a desired level of damage or effect.
The successful candidate will be an adaptable, agile, experienced engineer who is a consummate team player capable of researching, analyzing, and engineering solutions to meet customer demand for flight testing tools and software. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess effective communication skills, and have experience with performance prediction, test planning, and test execution.
