Software Engineer – SAP IBP
Location: Richardson, TX (100% Onsite – LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

Hourly Rate: $110,000 – $130,000
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive the implementation and enhancement of SAP IBP modules, specifically Supply & Response and Inventory Optimization. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate across varying levels of technical understanding, acting as a thought leader and change agent in a fast-paced environment. You will leverage your technical architecture, analytical, and leadership skills to design and deliver creative, out-of-the-box solutions in alignment with enterprise IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Architecture & Delivery:
- Own the overall technical architecture and design for SAP IBP (Supply & Response, Inventory Optimization) and integration tools (SAP CPI-DS, SDI, RTI).
- Hold accountability for software delivery, continuous improvement, development practices, and engineering principles.
- Document key business processes, architectural designs, and development milestones.
- Systems Analysis & Configuration:
* Define systems scope and objectives based on business user needs and deep application knowledge across the full development life cycle.
* Modify, maintain, and update complex SAP IBP and CPI-DS configurations.
* Stay current with SAP best practices, maintain coding/configuration standards, and ensure long-term IT strategic alignment.
- Collaboration & Execution:
* Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
* Work within Agile frameworks to manage competing priorities and deliver rapid iterations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Education: 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Overall Experience: 5+ years of software development and technical architecture experience.
- SAP IBP Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IBP planning solutions, including direct experience with Inventory Optimization.
- SAP ERP & Integration: 3–5 years of experience with SAP ERP integrated with SAP IBP Inventory, Supply & Response, and CPI-DS.
