    Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in project management, agile development, and leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading software development projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage software development projects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Implement and oversee agile development processes to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
    • Act as an advocate for agile development within the team and organization.
    • Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and team collaboration.
    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineering team members.
    • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our research and development efforts.
    • Continuously improve software development practices and processes.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5 years coding experience
    • Proven experience in software engineering, with a focus on project management and leadership.
    • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and best practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
    • Experience with project management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in the biotechnology or genetics industry.
    • Knowledge of genetic data analysis and bioinformatics tools.
    • Experience with AWS, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based infrastructure.
    • Familiarity with genetics and bioinformatics applications.
