As a Software Engineer, you will help build the flexible, scalable systems that power their mission to improve educational outcomes—without the red tape of a legacy enterprise.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate & Plan
- Partner with product owners and analysts to clarify goals, size work, and anticipate trade-offs.
- Provide accurate estimates and iterate on solutions throughout each sprint.
- Build & Enhance
- Design, code, and refactor integrations and applications across Salesforce, NetSuite, MuleSoft, and data-centric platforms such as Reltio.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and acceptance tests to guarantee quality and performance.
- Release & Operate
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments for all core platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues across dev, test, and production; document processes for repeatability.
- Document & Standardize
- Maintain system-level documentation, coding standards, and concise technical artifacts.
- Lead code reviews and ensure feedback loops are closed.
- Secure & Comply
- Embed security best practices in every integration and stay abreast of platform updates.
- Lead & Mentor
- Share expertise, coach peers, and proactively manage technical debt to keep the stack future-ready.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering in at least one enterprise ecosystem (Salesforce, NetSuite, or MuleSoft).
- Proven experience with Salesforce Lightning, Visualforce, SuiteScript, Mule ESB, and/or other integration frameworks.
- Proficiency in Apex, JavaScript, SOQL, HTML, CSS; familiarity with Python, SQL/MySQL a plus.
- MuleSoft expertise (3+ years) designing SOA interfaces and middleware solutions.
- Certification(s) such as Platform Developer I, App Builder, or Salesforce Administrator preferred.
- Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and time-management best practices.
- Excellent communicator, analytical thinker, and customer-focused collaborator.
