Job Title : Cloud Platform Engineer – Software Engineering
Location : Remote/Nashville, TN (MUST BE LOCAL TO NASHVILLE, TN)
Start Date : December 23, 2024
End Date : June 27, 2025 (with high potential for extension)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong foundation in AWS technologies to join our team. This role involves working in a 24/7 Production Support environment , leveraging expertise in AWS tools, and ensuring seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience with key AWS technologies such as Glue, Lambda, PySpark, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.

The position is remote, but local candidates in Nashville, TN are required for occasional client site visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 production support for cloud-based platforms.
• Work extensively with AWS technologies, including:
  • Lambda : Administration and support.
  • PySpark : For data processing and analytics.
  • AWS Glue : Data integration and ETL tasks.
  • RDS (Relational Database Service) : Database management.
  • CloudWatch : Monitoring and logging services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Utilize flexibility to support rotating shifts as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• AWS Lambda Administration : 4–6 years.
• AWS RDS : 4–6 years.
• AWS Glue : 4–6 years.
• PySpark : 4–6 years.
• Domain expertise in Medicare Advantage : 4–6 years.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Terraform , EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) , Spring Boot , Liquibase , and Linux.
• Familiarity with healthcare domain knowledge, particularly Medicare/Medicaid platforms.
• Proficiency in Java , Kubernetes , and Linux systems administration.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of the AWS technology stack.
