    Software Guidance Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Business Systems Analystfor a CONTRACTassignment with one of our premier Manufacturingclients in Portland, OR. The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. Responsibilities Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies Gathers requirements from business units and develop implement the changes into the visualization and analytic tools (E.g. Power BI, tableau) Supports one or more highly complex business processes Works on multiple projects as a project team member - Research master data issues. Support FOH operative planning (EA, FTR, OP) Work closely with other members of the Controlling organization during planning development to ensure consistent application of planning assumptions within the corporate support departments. - Ensure validation and consolidation of FOH figures in our Tagetik based business intelligence tool, which includes set up of planning processes (OP, Forecasts) in the tool, maintenance of the interface to the cbFC data warehouse for import of Actual FOH data and creation of Reports with the Excel Essbase Add-In. - Assist with and perform necessary actions within the Finance area in different cross-functional projects FOH related. Required Skills Further develop current dashboard for FOH and Travel. Develop and implement policies and procedures for planning and forecasting processes related to FOH and funding. Coordinate information gathering with business segment controllers, functional controlling and accounting. Analyze and provide financial support to management regarding ongoing financial development Perform capital and expenses budget analysis. Track budget actuals on a monthly basis and report variances to target. Support the preparation of presentations of key reports and metrics for senior leadership review. Participate andor support process improvement initiatives. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred 5+years experience required Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions - Knowledge of account of finance, and experience in management Reporting andor Controlling. - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, BI Tools knowledge (e.g. Tableau) Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines Ability to solve technical problems processes and understand complex details Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions SGA is a Certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) celebrating over thirty years of service to our national client base for both permanent placement and consulting opportunities.
