    The Talent Mine is recruiting for a Software QA Lead Engineer with strong automation skills for an immediate FTE role. This is for the largest recycler of any material in the western hemisphere, where teamwork, safety and innovation are at the core of our client's values.     Overview:

    As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will champion quality across our client's software portfolio, help to lead a growing QA and Support team, and drive continuous improvement in testing and support strategies. You’ll collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure clarity on requirements and deliver robust, reliable solutions.

    You must be availble to work in one of the following locations:

    • Salt Lake City region
    • Binghamton, NY region
    • Chattanooga, TN region,
    • Eastern Nebraska?

    COMPENSATION

    NOTE: A nice Re-location package IS available!

    • TOTAL COMPENSATION = $157,400- $186,880, broken down as follows:
    • Base salary range – $100,000 - $120,000
    • Annual bonus averaging 34% ROA multiplied by 10% Profit Sharing (Calculated as BASE * ROA * P/S!)
    • Educational assistance (up to $10K per year for you and your family members)

    A day in the life will include:

    • Oversee the testing and support process to ensure we meet quality standards and best practices.
    • Work with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity on testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Lead and mentor the QA and Support team, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
    • Help to develop and implement continuous improvements, test and support strategies, and plans.
    • Monitor testing progress, provide regular updates, and drive root cause analysis for production issues.
    • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
    • Balance tactical day-to-day responsibilities with strategic goals to enhance efficiency and value.
    • Uphold and advance safety policies, practices, and housekeeping standards.

    Ideal candidates will posses most of the following in their qualifications and profile:

    • 7+ years of professional experience in software testing, with at least two in a lead or managerial role (hands on with the software)
    • Senior/lead level knowledge of the SDLC, ideally with automation tools and/or development expertise on .NET applications
    • Strong compass for customer service and continuous improvement, a growth minded person
    • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen (including marijuana/dronabinol drugs).

    IDEAL SKILLS

    • Hands-on experience with testing both desktop and Azure cloud-based applications
    • Experience with test management tools such as DevOps or Jira
    • Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (C#, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
    • Familiarity with automated testing tools and API testing (Postman).
