Software Quality Assurance Technical Lead (Local Only/Hybrid)

Contract: 6 Months Location: 3300 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007 Shift: Mon–Fri, 8 AM – 5 PM (40 hrs/week)

Visa: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Local Only: Candidates must specify current location and be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close. Must start within 2 weeks of offer.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Software QA Technical Lead to drive automation strategy and enhance testing capabilities. Lead a team of QA engineers, implement scalable automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality software delivery through modern testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and implementation of automation frameworks.

Streamline functional testing & BDD practices with Gherkin syntax.

Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering technical excellence.

Collaborate with dev/product teams for test strategies and coverage.

Develop automated tests for web apps, APIs using Selenium WebDriver & Java.

Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain reporting via Grafana or similar tools.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug complex issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ yrs in QA; 3+ yrs in technical leadership/lead automation role. Must have leadership experience

BDD with Gherkin, Selenium WebDriver, Java Core

Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security

CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Maven, JUnit

Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ruby

Linux & Windows environments; Docker experience

Atlassian Confluence & Jira

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

Grafana, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Performance, load, security testing

Spring Boot applications
