Software Support Representative – Automotive F &I Support
Advent Resources is a leading provider of enterprise-level automotive software, headquartered in Fort Worth, TX. With over 38 years of industry experience, we serve some of the largest and most respected automotive groups in the country—including top-selling dealers for brands like Audi, BMW, Honda, and even luxury marques like Porsche and Ferrari.
Our platform combines CRM, inventory management, digital contracting, and reporting features—helping dealerships streamline their workflows and deliver better customer experiences.
We’re currently looking for a Software Support Agent to join our Support Team. In this role, you’ll work directly with dealership staff, providing support via phone, email, and ticketing systems for key components of our software suite—including CRM, Reports and our industry-leading F&I tools. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for someone who is technical, organized, and passionate about problem-solving.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a first point of contact for dealership users by answering phone calls, responding to support tickets, and managing incoming internal chats & emails
- Help users navigate our F&I tools, CRM, reporting features, and inventory modules—providing step-by-step guidance and functional support
- Troubleshoot technical issues, replicate bugs, and work with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues when necessary
- Configure system settings on behalf of the dealer and provide instructions on how to manage workflows within the platform
- Document all customer interactions, configurations, and troubleshooting steps in detail to ensure team visibility and continuity of support
- Prioritize tasks effectively while juggling tickets, calls, and urgent issues throughout the day
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other Support Agents, Leads, Supervisors, Product, QA, and Implementation teams
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and dealership IT staff when needed to troubleshoot or resolve cross-system issues
- Stay current on product updates, feature releases, and best practices to deliver timely, accurate support
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in software support, customer service, or a related technical support role
- Familiarity with automotive dealership operations (e.g., F&I, desking, inventory management, CRM workflows) and experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical processes into easy-to-follow steps
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues
- Comfortable working in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities
- A positive, professional demeanor and genuine desire to help users succeed
- Experience with Linux-based systems or terminal commands is helpful
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:
- CRM software: 2 years (Preferred)
- Software troubleshooting: 2 years (Required)
