TITLE: SR. BUSINESS ANALYST
LOCATION: GREATER HARTFORD CONNECTICUT REGION (WINDSOR, CT/EAST HARTFORD, CT)
EMPLOYMENT: CONTRACT TO HIRE
MODE OF INTERVIEW :- F2F MUST
NOTE :- WORK IS PERFORMED FOR A DEFENSE CUSTOMER HENCE ONLY US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS CONSIDERED
- Process MINIMUM OF 6-8 YEARS of relevant consulting or industry experience and working with SDLC DEPLOYMENT OR APPLICATION MANAGEMENT PROJECT
- A solid understanding and delivery experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Develop and diagram business processes by working side by side with the customer and other analysts.
- Work with client teams and stakeholders to discover and categorize HIGH-LEVEL USER STORIES for the development teams including acceptance criteria
- Engage with Product Owner to PRIORITIZE SIZED USER STORIES
- Facilitate continuous improvement within the system
- Support ASSIGNED SCRUM TEAM IN DEVELOPING TEST CASES AND TEST SCRIPTS (automated and manual), based on acceptance criteria, in support of test driven development
- Facilitate communication between Product Owner and the developers on the assigned Scrum Team
- Facilitate internal and external awareness and knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and XP
- Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with client
- Experience in working with LARGE-SCALE CUSTOM APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND/OR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION PROJECTS in one or more phases of the software development lifecycle
- Experience working with offshore team who support development and testing
- Experience meeting with business owners and performing system analysis
- Experience working with business users to elicit requirements, writing functional and technical specifications
- Experience in recognizing business problems and recommending/developing solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments for projects and internal operations
NICE TO HAVE
- Prototyping/wireframe experience using tools such as sketch or other
- Candidate should have experience in dealing with Data (Data Analysis, Data Testing and Data flow etc.)
- Experience in Aerospace industry
- Knowledge of export regulations
- Experience with Solumina or similar ERP systems a big plus
