TITLE:  MOBILE APPS DEVELOPER

DURATION: 6+ MONTHS

LOCATION: PISCATAWAY, NJ

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client is seeking a Mobile Applications Developer to be a part of the Mobile Center of Excellence to design, develop and maintain scalable & diverse mobile solutions for consumer oriented functions, internal/backend software tools and API’s.

The candidate must possess strong development experience in Hybrid mobile application development for both ANDROID AND IOS.

Prior application development experience leveraging REST/SOA WEB SERVICES, JSON and other relevant Client Side technologies (JAVASCRIPT, HTML, CSS) is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Developing hybrid, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android, which includes defining, designing, and maintenance

·       Working closely with the MCoE team, Core & Development Teams/Partners, IT Application & Enterprise Architecture teams, UX Delivery Teams, Business Stakeholders & Other Technical Stakeholder teams

·       Reporting progress and activity to the assigned Manager and Lead on a continuing basis

·       Applicants must be prepared to provide code samples and demonstrate mobile applications they have previously developed and published.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·       3+ years of experience in Hybrid Mobile Application Development for ANDROID AND IOS USING IONICJS & APACHE CORDOVA OR PHONEGAP

·       5+ years of hands-on experience with implementing Front-end application using ANGULAR, HTML5, CSS3 TECHNOLOGIES

·       3+ years of hands-on experience in implementation and integration with web services (SOAP/REST BASED, JSON, XML)

·       Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  *   Experience of designing and developing responsive and/or mobile-driven user experiences

  *   Familiarity in native mobile application development (in Android and/or iOS)

  *   Experience of working with AWS

  *   Experience of working with SCRUM Agile methodology

  *   Experience in Object-Oriented and MVC/MVVM programming models

  *   Certification in relevant mobile technologies is an added advantage
