TITLE:  ACTIVE DIRECTORY ENGINEER

DURATION: 10+ MONTHS

LOCATION: NEW YORK CITY, NY

INTERVIEW: IN-PERSON

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Client needs a consultant to assist with Active Directory Development, architecture and maintenance of the Active Directory environment.

Consultant should have extensive experience with Active Directory, including development, architecture, and maintenance to assist with the migration of our application environment from eDirectory to Active Directory as well as provide post migration support and maintenance of the system

Consultant should have hands on experience in an enterprise environment with a large installation base.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Active Directory Development

·         Server installation and upgrades

·         Active Directory preparation and cleanup

·         Email account migration from On-premises Exchange to Exchange On-line (Office 365)

·         Resolution of On-prem and Cloud email and Domain controller issues

·         Email Archive Migrations to Office 365

·         Email searches, and restoration of archived emails

·         Troubleshooting and resolution of any technical active issues reported by the users  and any other technical services

REQUIRED SKILLS :

·         Extensive experience with ACTIVE DIRECTORY, including development, architecture, and maintenance to assist with the migration of our application environment from eDirectory

to Active Directory as well as provide post migration support and maintenance of the system

·         Consultant should have hands on experience in an enterprise environment with a large installation base.

·         Knowledge of current industry standard IT technologies and market trends.

·         DEVELOPMENT AND ADMIN EXPERIENCE WITH WINDOWS ADDS AND AD LDS INFRASTRUCTURES in an enterprise environment.

DESIRED SKILLS:

·         Experience with Powershell and C#

·         Knowledge of LDAP

·         Experience with Azure Cloud

·         Experience with Office 365 and Exchange Online
