      We provide the means for software companies to securely distribute and maintain control of their software, because they deserve to be paid for what they have created.   Job Description   We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Sales Representative will be responsible for qualifying new leads, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.    As our Sales Representative, you should be a good listener and able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.  To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills. You will also need to articulate your thoughts (and what we do) in a clear manner.  Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.   What does a Sales Representative do? In the position of Sales Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact and the face of the company with prospective customers. Although this is not a technical position, you will need to be comfortable learning how our software works. You will be educated to possess a high-level knowledge of the core concepts of the business and its products. You will be expected to attain an ease and confidence in explaining the basics of the product line to individuals considering purchasing our products and services.   You will become familiar with the needs of our predominately entrepreneurial software developer customer base to serve them best. You will utilize a variety of sales and administrative tools (help desk system, live chat system, customer relationship management system for managing prospects, etc.).    Responsibilities   

    • Research and qualify new leads, including identifying key decision makers.
    • Communicate with prospects by phone, email, or online chat.
    • Understand customers' needs and identify opportunities to upsell products and services.
    • Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information.
    • Ensure all sales leads and opportunities receive the appropriate follow-through.
    • Move sales opportunities through the CRM/automated marketing.
    • Provide web demonstrations of products and services.
    • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate team member for further development.
    • Schedule appointments with prospects and customers.
    • Assist in the creation and management of proposals for Enterprise deals.
    • Close sales.

      Required Qualifications  

    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
    • A commitment to excellent customer service with the ability to communicate at all levels.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong listening and presentation skills.
    • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport.
    • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
    • Ability to thrive working as part of a team, but also able to work independently.
    • Experience working in an atmosphere where team members take ownership of their roles in the company.
    • Strong work ethic and a high level of determination and professionalism.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Well organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Experience with Internet browsing and research.
    • Background check required.

      Desired Qualifications  

    • Inside sales experience and demonstrated success in a business (B2B) environment.
    • Customer Relationship Management software or services experience.
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience or demonstrated agility for learning, problem solving, dealing with people. 
    • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
    • Experience with SaaS industry preferred.

      Compensation This is a full-time position with benefits.  Monetary compensation commensurate with experience. Compensation is a combination of base/hourly rate and commission (after probationary period).
