About the Role:

Caliber Ag Solutions LLC is looking for a motivated Soil Sampling Technician to join our team in Columbia, MO. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll play a vital part in helping farmers and agricultural producers make data-driven decisions. Responsibilities:

Collect soil samples from agricultural fields following established protocols

Accurately record field data, GPS coordinates, and sample identification using field software

Operate and maintain soil sampling equipment, probes, and related tools

Package, label, and prepare soil samples for laboratory submission

Navigate fields using GPS technology and digital mapping tools

Communicate daily with supervisors regarding field progress and scheduling

Follow all safety protocols while working in varying field and weather conditions

Requirements:

Background or interest in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field preferred

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions for extended periods

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Basic proficiency with GPS devices, tablets, smartphones.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sampling procedures accurately

Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in the field

Physical ability to walk long distances and perform sampling tasks
