THEN I MET YOU: SUMMER INTERN, MARKETING_ NEW YORK, NY - PAID OPPORTUNITY _ JOB OVERVIEW

The Marketing Intern will help support daily activities of Then I Met You marketing including CRM, Reporting, and Content creation and management. The Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and delivery of compelling marketing campaigns and associated content across multiple channels and platforms to help achieve business objectives and build brand equity. The ideal candidate will be a rising senior, MBA student, or post-grad, and have a good balance of strategic, analytical, creative, and copy writing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in conceptualizing themes for photoshoots, write copy and select imagery for brand communications, and field community questions
• Manage social media channels to increase community size and engagement while optimizing key metrics for growth including community engagement
• Identify and pitch new communications channels that could help build brand equity
• Help concept and draft email + SMS copy as well as deploy email + SMS communications 
• Support in analysis + reporting of daily sales, customer lifecycle data and social media engagement
• Update and maintain content links and tags on Then I Met You's content platform
• Support in ad hoc company projects
• Ideate and develop unique marketing solutions to increase brand awareness, consideration and retention
• Analyze appropriate brand metrics for all brand initiatives against key goals to evaluate and optimize brand initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enrolled in a 2 to 4 year degree program (business or marketing preferred).
• Prior marketing/CRM internship experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Experience analyzing large data sets
• Relevant brand-level social media experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience with Facebook Business manager + Google Analytics preferred 
• Experience with Photoshop + Adobe Suite preferred
• Extremely organized and detail oriented with an analytical mind-set 
• Passionate about beauty, skincare and Then I Met You
• Strong work ethic and pride of ownership
• High energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving entrepreneurial team environment
• High degree of initiative to drive projects to completion with a collaborative attitude
