That goal is one that requires a high level of integrity, continued education, and ongoing improvement of our relationships, systems and processes.

    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    We are looking for a best-in-class experienced mortgage loan processer to join our growing team. As a loan processor for our client, you will take ownership of residential mortgage loan files after origination and work to fulfill the requirements to advance them to closing. This includes obtaining, reviewing, and assembling documentation, along with preparing and submitting files.

     

     

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·         Review new loan application files within 48 hours of receipt and verify that all required forms and/or documentation are compliant and were issued within the proper time frame by the borrower.

    ·         Prepare and send out all pertinent regulatory compliance disclosure material and perform required research of verification.

    ·         Review loan packages to ensure compliance with investor guidelines and submit them to Underwriting for approval.

    ·         Manage loan pipeline and communicate the status of all loans to each principal party involved.

    ·         Notify the appropriate staff member if additional documentation or information is needed.

    ·         Maintain a pipeline of 25 or more loan files

    ·         Order all necessary documents to satisfy AUS findings, investor and agency requirements

    ·         Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt and follow up in the event of discrepancies or omitted data.

    ·         During documentation review, if any discrepancies are identified immediately notify Loan Originator or appropriate team member.

    ·         Use documentation to perform functions, such as calculating verified income or verifying assets, and update software accordingly.

    ·         Review, organize and prepare loan for underwriting submission Clear any approval or suspense conditions as outlined by the underwriter, or closer.

    ·         Loans are to be processed to meet purchase contract deadlines and rate lock expiration dates. File submitted to closing department upon obtaining CTC - approval milestone Assist other processors, Underwriters and Closing departments as needed.

    ·         Respond to customer inquiries and other related parties on a transaction as determined by Loan Originator.

    ·         Assist with the clearing of post-closing conditions received to avoid any financial loss.

     

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    ·         4 or more years of residential mortgage loan processing experience required

    ·         1 or more years of FHA mortgage loan processing highly preferred

    ·         Experience with Doc Magic and Lending Pad or Encompass required

    ·         Strong working knowledge of DU, LP and FHA

    ·         Proficiency in G Suite Applications, and various mortgage software including Doc Magic and Lending Pad, Encompass and SaaS applications.

    ·         Proven success working in fast-paced, high volume environments.

    ·         Excellent communication and customer service skills

    ·         Precise attention to detail

    ·         Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

    ·         High School Diploma or Equivalent Knowledge of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHA/VA guidelines

    ·         Sound judgment and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Excellent customer service skills Excellent organizational skills Knowledge of current state's regulatory lending laws and requirements

    ·         Able to pass background check

    ·         Fluency in English language (written, oral, spoken); fluency in a second language desirable
