    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The Solar Sales Ambassador goes a step beyond those at most solar companies, having control of which products and financing options to propose to each customer individually. No two solar customers are alike which is why they train thier consultants to be able to analyze the best solution for the property owner while creating their own solar layouts and proposals. As a solar ambassador, you will have the ability to work from home and set your hours. Your job will be to work with potential clients to answer their questions, develop their custom solar solution, and of course to close the sale!

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Attend online consultations with homeowners that would like to explore solar for their home
    • Identify, qualify and follow up with cold, warm and hot leads for opportunity to convert to sales
    • Keep an updated and organized CRM with leads and closed sales
    • Design and price out a solar system and then propose it to a customer
    • Keep an ongoing list of potential prospects on a weekly basis with a plan of how to convert them to a close
    • Maintain a solid knowledge base of local code requirements, products, roofing processes, solar installation practices, and
    • industry norms.
    • Facilitate communications between customers and operations pertaining to scheduling accessibility, and special job needs through projects.
    • Achieve sales and margin goals.

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 2-years successful residential solar sales experience.
    • This successful candidate will have excellent people skills and be able to demonstrate the value of Solar Power for the Residential Homeowner.
    • Have the ability to grow personal leads
    • Must be self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
    • Strong capability to close deals

    • Ability to work under stress to meet deadlines and quotas

    • Ability to prioritize and multitask

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills

    • Strong computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office

    • Must be a team player, and be able to handle a high volume of leads

    • Must have clean DMV, pre-employment background check and drug screen

    COMPENSATION

    • Uncapped Commission Average first year at plan 300K+
