Solar Electrician (Piece Rate – No License Required)

We are hiring an experienced Solar Electrician to support residential solar installations. This role does not require an electrical license, but strong hands-on experience with solar wiring, service equipment, and troubleshooting is essential. This is a piece-rate position , ideal for a fast, high-quality technician. Reliable personal transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete solar electrical work, including wiring, terminations, grounding, conduit runs, and equipment mounting

• Assist with main panel upgrades, inverter installations, and system commissioning

• Troubleshoot electrical and solar system issues in the field

• Ensure all work meets NEC and company standards

• Communicate effectively with project managers, homeowners, and inspectors

Requirements

• Proven experience as a solar or residential electrician

• Ability to work safely and independently

• Strong understanding of solar electrical components and layouts

• Must have reliable transportation

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Compensation

• Piece-rate pay with high earning potential based on productivity
