Job Description

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the comprehensive financial landscape of the manufacturing operations of our Solar Innovations brand in Pine Grove, PA.

Position location: This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main offices located in Pine Grove, PA to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Budgeting and Cost Management:

* Lead the preparation of budgets and plant costs.
* Review budget proposals and prepare supporting documentation and justifications.
* Coordinate the annual strategic and financial planning process, tracking results against forecasts.

• Forecasting and Financial Planning:

* Manage monthly and quarterly forecasts, aligning with overall business projections.
* Monitor operating expense budgets and working capital metrics.
* Evaluate and track continuous improvement and capital expense projects.

• Financial Control and Compliance:

* Ensure balance sheet control and reconciliations, addressing any external audit evaluations.
* Own the monthly financial closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Oversee facility compliance with internal control policies.

• Team Management and Development:

* Develop and mentor direct and indirect reports in finance, accounting, AP/AR.
* Foster positive business relationships, establishing trust with Leadership Team and Finance Associates.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of progressively responsible relevant work experience
• Experience with IT systems, managerial reporting tools, Excel modeling, and data management
• Experience owning managerial & statutory close processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: __

• Prior experience preparing analysis for presentation at senior levels (OPS LT & OPS SVP)
• Possess a track record of process leadership and process improvement
• Prior experience in manufacturing and distribution of branded goods or fast-moving consumer goods industry
