About the Role:

Join Pacificsky Solar LLC as a Solar Permit Office Tech and play a vital role in facilitating the solar permit process. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about renewable energy and eager to contribute to our mission of making solar accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit solar permit applications to local authorities.

Coordinate with contractors and clients to gather necessary documentation.

Review plans and specifications for compliance with regulations.

Track the status of permits and provide updates

Maintain organized records of all permit-related documentation.

Assist in resolving any permit-related issues or inquiries.

Stay updated on local building codes and solar regulations.

Know how to submit online permits (AKA SolarApp, LADBS)

Support the team in optimizing the permitting process for efficiency.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.

Familiarity with solar energy systems and permitting processes.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in permit software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Positive attitude and a passion for renewable energy.

Previous experience in a similar role is a huge plus.
