SOLAR SOCCER CLUB – CLUB MARKETING AND BRANDING POSITION

JOB TITLE:                            Club Marketing and Branding

JOB PURPOSE:                     To assist Solar Soccer Club with various marketing and branding including but not limited to: creative graphic design, social media, website, event and program promotion within the organization and take the lead on project assignments throughout the season to ensure brand consistency.

LOCATION:                            Allen, TX

KEY FUNCTIONS:                  *Create and design graphic art for events, programs and website to maximize marketing presence and align with business goals

                                             *Design and determine content for all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.) on a daily basis and stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends

                                             *Maintain and update Solar website with the latest information in a timely manner including teams list, upcoming events, staffing, etc.

                                             *Promote and assist with planning of all Solar tournaments, camps and events under the direction of staff – includes some evenings and weekends

                                             *Organize and implement community outreach projects to include players and their families

                                             *Create monthly newsletter that will be distributed club wide via email database

                                             *Create graphic designs for annual spirit wear sales including sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, etc.

                                             *Support coaching directors and administrative staff with daily tasks

*Local travel in the DFW area required to assist with events as needed

EDUCATION:                         Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or relevant field with two years’ experience with a youth sports organization preferred but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS:                  Excellent communication skills, creative, self-motivated, project leader, flexible, resourceful, works independently, adaptable

PREFERRED SKILLS:               Microsoft Office, Constant Contact, Social Media Platforms, Visme, Adobe Design Suite, Canva, TeamSnap, WordPress website builder, HTML and website programming, ability to edit and compress video, familiar with digital file formats (jpg, png, pdf, gif)
