Big Dog Solar is a growing residential solar company serving homeowners across the Boise area. We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals to join our field team as Solar Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry—no prior solar experience required.
Assist with residential solar panel installations and related equipment
Support lead technicians with job site setup, materials, and tools
Perform basic electrical and mechanical tasks under supervision
Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Travel to residential job sites throughout the Boise area
Entry-level candidates welcome—training provided
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
Reliable transportation to job sites
Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus, but not required
Hourly pay (based on experience)
Full-time schedule with consistent work
