    We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Solar Outreach Specialist to join our team and support the expansion of clean energy awareness in communities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing outreach strategies, engaging with residents, businesses, and community organizations, and educating the public about the benefits of solar energy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan, coordinate, and attend community outreach events, workshops, and presentations to promote solar energy initiatives.

    Educate homeowners, businesses, and stakeholders about solar technologies, financing options, and available incentives.

    Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop outreach materials, including brochures, digital content, and social media campaigns.

    Build relationships with community leaders, nonprofits, local governments, and other stakeholders to increase program participation.

    Conduct door-to-door canvassing or phone outreach to potential solar customers as needed.

    Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, leads, and community engagement metrics.

    Assist with the coordination of solar installation programs or informational webinars.

    Provide feedback on community needs, barriers, and opportunities related to solar adoption.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

    1–3 years of experience in community outreach, public engagement, sales, or a related field.

    Knowledge of solar energy systems and/or environmental issues preferred (training provided).

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for community engagement.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

    Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

    Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
