Sole Source Medical is an innovative and rapidly scaling company. Founded in 2001, we've been growing in the medical surgical equipment space ever since. In 2019 we launched a new service offering: providing hospitals with a deep technical clean of their surgical and central processing equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will PERFORM ROUTINE CLEANING SERVICES OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN HOSPITALS. We are looking for reliable, honest, and committed candidates with strong interpersonal skills, and high-drive and energy. 

Expected Working Hours

• This is a part-time position of roughly 20 hours/week. Most work occurs on weekends and weeknights. 
• This could become a full-time role and would likely have a schedule of four 10-hour days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Travel

• Technicians routinely travel 1+ hour(s) away to perform job duties at various hospitals. Reliable transportation is required. 
  • If a service location is >150 miles away, you will be paid a higher travel-pay rate, daily meal per-diems will be provided as well as lodging, as available
  • Strong performers will also have the opportunity to fly to service locations in new markets as we expand our services nationally.
• Valid driver's license in good standing with proof of vehicle insurance
• Enhanced Driver's License or passport needed for travel

Physical Work Requirements

• Body Positioning

  • Long periods of sitting, standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, repetitive motions, and/or crawling
  • Working in cramped spaces and awkward positions

• Handling of Equipment

  • Move or lift heavy equipment/objects (over 50 pounds)
  • Push, pull heavy equipment/objects (over 50 pounds)

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Conditions of Employment (MUST be able to provide proof of the following within first 30 days of employment)

• Negative TB test (within last 12 months)
• MMR
• Varicella
• Hep B (proof must be provided within 7 days of employment)
• Tdap (tetanus within last 10 years)
• Flu Shot (within last 12 months)
