Description: Solen Software Group is a committed fund that acquires, operates, and builds enduring businesses. Solen is looking for an M&A analyst to source and help close acquisitions of low-churn (>95% GRR) B2B software companies between $1-$10m ARR
Location: Onsite Cottonwood Heights, UT
Responsibilities
- Cultivate authentic relationships with key stakeholders in B2B software companies with $1-$10 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
- Evaluate the suitability and strategic alignment of potential opportunities, leading negotiations for qualified prospects.
- Effectively manage seller relationships to ensure that Solen Software Group is perceived as the preferred buyer.
- Lead strategic initiatives related to the M&A process and growth strategy, including participation in industry conferences and the establishment of industry connections.
- Contribute to goal setting and process refinement to enhance the efficiency of the deal-making process.
- Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint investment prospects.
- Generate lists of potential companies and their leadership teams.
- Initiate direct contact with CEOs/Owners, employing well-crafted messages to assess their interest in selling.
- Assess the fundamental aspects and growth potential of potential investments.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in private equity, corporate development, business development, or a similar role within the software industry.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles and business analysis.
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, including active listening and thoughtful communication.
- Display strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
