Soles4Souls seeks a talented student eager to grow professionally as its Development Intern. The Development Intern will help implement the Race4EveryKid virtual movement challenge and other select campaigns. They will coordinate and support marketing, fundraising and event efforts including managing participant communications, coaching participants with their fundraising efforts, supporting campaign logistics, and organizing stewardship activities.
We are currently looking to fill an intern position for students looking for a career in nonprofit, marketing, fundraising, and/or communications. This paid internship can provide school credit and offer valuable experience in non-profit, sales/development. Business management, communications, and event planning industries.
The intern will gain an understanding of the internal operations of a nationally aligned non-profit organization and will support its top peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. Candidates must be self-motivated, a team player, results-oriented and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children experiencing homelessness.
The Intern will gain project management experience; including how to meet daily and weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment, experience working with volunteers and supporters and coaching them to be successful fundraisers, and quality verbal communication and written communication (web, email, newsletters) skills.
