Job Description

Responsible for researching and recommending specific systems, applications, data, or process designs to protect the data for very large or complex cloud infrastructure solutions. This role will design, develop, and analyze overall systems and data architecture to determine that hardware, software and data architecture solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.

This role with support and deliver both host and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions and capabilities as a service to the various teams through the enterprise. This role will be required to participate in delivering and supporting encryption, access and rights management solutions for device, file, containers and repositories. This role will be required to have strong knowledge in O365 Azure Information Protection (AIP)/Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) tooling and frameworks and be required to design, implement, configure, tune and manage cloud access security broker (CASB) solutions. This role will operate within cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP etc. and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. This role will be required to design, implement, configure and optimize Advanced SIEM and detective/preventive endpoint/network protection control data within collection tools like the Cortex Data Lake as well as operational tools such as GCP Big Query. As well as lead on architectural governance, decisions related to projects, and participate as part of a cross functional architecture decision group both collaboratively within Intel and as an externally regarded leader in the big data space.

Qualifications

• At least 7 yrs. in Information Technology.
• 5 current yrs. in Info. Security.
• Current focus on Data Protection.
• Big Data / Data Storage experience (esp. with Snowflake) is a big +.
• Cloud technology focus (AWS, Azure, etc..)
• Experience with SIEM and network protection
• Exp. with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a +.
