    Job Description

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

    • Work closely with business process owners and data custodians to ensure that corporate data governance processes are followed for their respective subject-areas and domains
    • Conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies or data quality to drive towards resolution with technical teams and make recommendations to prevent future defects
    • Onboarding technical and business metadata for centralized repository as part of Data Governance program using our Data Governance Platform
    • Create business glossary, relationships, policies, workflows and dashboards in our Data Governance Platform
    • Provide recommendations for improving the overall organization’s data governance and privacy environment and related processes
    • Execute standard onboarding of technical and business metadata into our Data Governance Platform, ensuring population of data lineage and linkage between technical and business metadata.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure quality metadata and support for ongoing data governance.
    • Facilitate discussion with data stakeholders on data governance processes and translate those requirements into Data Governance Platform workflows.

    WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

    • Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening, and interviewing
    • An understanding of relevant statutory frameworks applying to data governance such as the CCPA, GDPR
    • Experience in developing BPMN workflow process
    • Data analysis skills with the capability of identifying data quality issues and correlating those issues with data specifications and quality rules
    • Familiarity with Global Operations data (Supply Chain, Procurement, etc..), its application and the business processes that generates the data
    • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
    • Strong domain specific knowledge in Human Resources data and processes

    THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING:

    • BA/BS or equivalent experience
    • 8+ years work experience in reporting, analytics, data engineering, information systems, information security, data governance
    • Expert understanding of information management practices including information lifecycle management and master data management
    • Deep level of understanding of the business requirements that drive data quality, translating those requirements into quality rules and decomposing those rules to properly place their execution in the data flow.
    • Experience with data governance, master data management, quality, and lineage tools e.g. Collibra, AXON, EDC is a plus
    • Demonstrated analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
