Job Description
System Validation interns within the Platform Validation Organization work in a multidisciplinary organization and collaborate with Firmware ASIC SV and other organizations to validate Intel Solid State drives. In this role the engineering intern will work within the System Electrical or Eco-system engineering teams to deliver SSDs that meet or exceed product requirements, Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education judgment and formal software and or industry standard tools to deliver a test process. Responsibilities may be quite diverse and of technical nature. US experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Applicants will creatively apply the technical knowhow, engineering fundamentals, scientific knowledge, analytical thinking and testing knowledge against design constraints and boundary conditions, industrial design cost performance criteria and other design constraints to research develop and productize mass producible solutions. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Self-motivated, individual willing to take and follow directions and deliver to schedule, Communication and interpersonal skills, Quantitative analytical and problem solving skills, Conflict resolution skills, Effective prioritization and time management skills, Customer communications skills as internal/external customer interaction is a critical requirement of this job role. The length of the internship is minimum 6 months.
