Talent Management & Organizational Development Manager
Job Description
The Talent Management & Organizational Development Manager will help to create a diverse and inclusive culture in which every person can reach their full potential, and that will attract, develop, engage, and retain extraordinary talent to fuel our growth. This role will be responsible for setting our holistic talent strategy to help proactively drive succession planning, talent development, strategic capability building, talent reviews, talent analytics, employee engagement, executive coaching, and performance management while contributing insights towards employment value proposition research that will scale up as the business grows. This role will be instrumental in aligning NewCo’s talent strategy and assisting with the advancement of our diversity and inclusion efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in industrial/organizational psychology or MBA desirable.
7-10 years’ experience in HR roles focusing on Talent Development, Organizational Development, Workforce Planning, or related areas
This position requires the employee to prove that they have received the COVID-19 vaccine or have a valid religious or medical reason not to be vaccinated.
Additional Information
· Strong subject matter expertise across core disciplines of Talent Management, DEI, Leadership Development, and Organizational Effectiveness, including a solid understanding of leading research, practices, and innovations.
· Deep knowledge of HR Business Partner practices including organization design, compensation, performance management, organizational change, executive relationship building, etc.
· Strong consulting skills—e.g., asking questions, contributing ideas, challenging and promoting thinking, clarifying critical issues.
· Solutions-focused, empathetic, and collaborative approach to implementing and improving people programs and processes to support the business.
· Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and vertically with Senior Leaders to influence and motivate change, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth.
· Ability to lead execution of complex projects from initiation to completion, to achieve contracted outcomes – including development of project plans, budgets, and vendor relationships.
· Ability to produce high-quality work products with limited direction, including visually compelling presentations, sound and insightful analyses, and reports. Strong proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, HRMS, Workday, and data visualization tools.
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); able to create a story using data and research.
· A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with high personal accountability for results.
· Able to successfully navigate complexity, ambiguity, and pressure to get things done in a dynamic, start-up type culture.
