    Job Description

    The Talent Management & Organizational Development Manager will help to create a diverse and inclusive culture in which every person can reach their full potential, and that will attract, develop, engage, and retain extraordinary talent to fuel our growth. This role will be responsible for setting our holistic talent strategy to help proactively drive succession planning, talent development, strategic capability building, talent reviews, talent analytics, employee engagement, executive coaching, and performance management while contributing insights towards employment value proposition research that will scale up as the business grows. This role will be instrumental in aligning NewCo’s talent strategy and assisting with the advancement of our diversity and inclusion efforts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Drive the design and implementation of talent programs (e.g., succession management, talent movement, leadership development, talent architecture); presents ideas, business insight, and implementation approaches to HR leadership and business partners to increase the visibility of programs; assists in the development of engagement and integration strategies.
    • Build strong relationships and communicate with senior leaders to align the business strategy and organizational needs with the appropriate leadership development and change management solutions.
    • Work with Talent Leader, Talent Acquisition team, Learning and Development team, HRBPs, and other functional partners to deploy enterprise Talent/OD programs and execute change initiatives.
    • Create a Strategic Workforce Planning approach that will align business strategy into meaningful talent actions (build/borrow/buy) to ensure we have the right people in the right roles, at the right time.  Leverage analytics to measure impact of talent actions.
    • Lead the evaluation, enhancement, and re-imagination of the Performance Management process to ensure clarity of expectations aligned to company values/culture, exceptional delivery of high-quality feedback, and meaningful outcomes following performance conversations.
    • Enhance and/or re-develop talent calibration tools and best practices, succession plans, and targeted development plans for successors and other high potential talent that align with global processes and long-term business strategies.
    • Lead efforts to create a culture of career growth so that employees can grow, develop, and move across the company – leveraging internal mobility as a means to continuously create new opportunities for employees to gain exposure, capabilities, and experience.
    • Implement initiatives and programs to help foster a diverse and inclusive workplace such as mentoring, sponsorship, unconscious bias, ally skills, etc.
    • Design and implement highly effective development initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, culture activation, inclusive leadership, and individualized development to improve the depth and bench of leadership.
    • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to understand and assess organizational development needs, perform gap analysis, and design and implement creative solutions/interventions that build leadership skills and capabilities aligned with organizational goals and strategies – including psychometric assessments, executive coaching, group and team coaching, mentorship, etc.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in industrial/organizational psychology or MBA desirable.

    7-10 years’ experience in HR roles focusing on Talent Development, Organizational Development, Workforce Planning, or related areas

    ·       Strong subject matter expertise across core disciplines of Talent Management, DEI, Leadership Development, and Organizational Effectiveness, including a solid understanding of leading research, practices, and innovations.

    ·       Deep knowledge of HR Business Partner practices including organization design, compensation, performance management, organizational change, executive relationship building, etc.

    ·       Strong consulting skills—e.g., asking questions, contributing ideas, challenging and promoting thinking, clarifying critical issues.

    ·       Solutions-focused, empathetic, and collaborative approach to implementing and improving people programs and processes to support the business.

    ·       Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and vertically with Senior Leaders to influence and motivate change, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth.

    ·       Ability to lead execution of complex projects from initiation to completion, to achieve contracted outcomes – including development of project plans, budgets, and vendor relationships.

    ·       Ability to produce high-quality work products with limited direction, including visually compelling presentations, sound and insightful analyses, and reports. Strong proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, HRMS, Workday, and data visualization tools.

    ·       Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); able to create a story using data and research.

    ·       A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with high personal accountability for results.

    ·       Able to successfully navigate complexity, ambiguity, and pressure to get things done in a dynamic, start-up type culture.
