Job Description
In this position you will join a fast-paced path-finding team doing research and development on new, cutting-edge software for Solidigm Solid State Drives (SSD). You will utilize and grow your experience in host software architecture, embedded architecture, external interfaces, and product constraints, along with the ability to develop architectures/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform. You will use and gain experience in storage interface standards such as SATA, SAS, PCIe, and NVMe. The role also includes algorithm modeling, benchmarking, and implementation in firmware. The team utilizes Agile development methodologies, therefore, communication skills and is willing to work closely with team members, both locally and across the organization is required.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have a Ph.D degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or any related field and 4+ years or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience in the following areas:
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced research capability in storage, especially SSD technologies
Design and deliver high-impact storage solutions to data center or enterprise customers
3+ years of experience on enterprise storage interface protocols (e.g., SATA, SAS, PCIe, and NVMe)
Software development processes including workflow and continuous integration validation
Supply Planning
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or other related field
