Job Description

The Data Center Group is looking for a motivated software engineer to intern for the system modeling team. The team's current roles include software/hardware pathfinding, researching next-generation architecture ideas, and demonstrating their value proposition to influence software and hardware architecture decisions.

NOTE:  Must be available to start as early as 1/9/2023 with the thought that you can work 35-40 hours each week for a minimum time of 6 months (roughly late July 2023).

As a System Modeling Engineering Intern, you are responsible to develop and code modules in C++ as part of a large codebase. Routinely interact with other team members of a software development group. Participate in technical discussions and decision making, standup meetings, and huddles. Understand the underlying system architecture and produce coherent data driven analysis.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is passionate about computer architecture, software engineering, simulation, data collection, and possesses excellent communication skills. A desire to create innovations resulting in Solidigm products improvements.

Candidate must have:

• Knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Understanding of Scripting tools (Python)
• Ability to understand and analyze data to produce a coherent argument.
• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in software engineering, computer science/Engineering or related field.
