    Job Description

    The successful candidate will work closely with architecture, design, power/thermal, supplier and QRMT teams to gather all relevant model inputs, use conditions, and based on that create and execute a qualification plan for the company's Solid State Drives. You will be gathering empirical from multiple experiments to demonstrate quality and reliability goals are met. The Quality and Reliability Engineering Intern will be responsible for but not limited to: Determining reliability requirements to achieve company, customer and other reliability objectives. Developing physics-based predictive reliability modeling methods and tools for reliability risk assessments. Developing SSD risk assessment techniques, test methods and analytical tools to provide fast and effective feedback for reliability process optimization feedback for reliability process optimization. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Verbal and written communication skills. Organization and planning skills. Self Motivated.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • The candidates must be enrolled in Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
    • Minimum 3+ months of experience with programming Skills like Python, C/C++, and/or JavaScript.

     

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience with Device Physics
    • Experience with Statistical Modeling, including experience Statistics Software (JMP, Minitab)
    • Understanding of Computer Architecture
    • Familiar with Memory Fundamentals
