Job Description
THE SOLID STATE DRIVE SSD QUALITY AND RELIABILITY TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Identify failures and research test process/methodologies to enhance coverage, performance and quality and reliability of next generation of 3DNAND SSD technologies.
- Develop test methodologies and reporting quality metrics to ensure strategic failure analysis capabilities for future technologies and products.
- Develop automation processes, infrastructures and software tools to handle high volume parallel testing environment
- Enable partner teams to identify issues in design, code, tests, or processes that could affect quality, and recommend corrective action to prevent recurrence of problems.
- Perform debug and/or test process monitoring and improvement, allowing for faster time to root cause issues.
- Proliferate training and documentation on debug and/or test methodologies across sites.
- Perform other related duties as required or as directed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Working experience in SSD System validation, Semiconductor devices/processes and Circuit design/Validation, or NAND Flash or other memory technology validation
- Experience in NVMe/PCIe protocols
- Experience in serial protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, or TA
- SQL database
- Scripting language such as Perl, Python
- Statistical analysis
