Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Controller to join our executive team. As Controller, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and supporting our mission to electrify and elevate communities through solar energy. You will oversee all financial operations, manage financial planning, and steer our economic growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine financial strategies in alignment with the company's goals.
• Oversee cash flow, financial planning, and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
• Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
• Collaborate with management to manage and negotiate with suppliers and clients.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
• Manage payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Oversee commission structures and payouts, ensuring they are aligned with company

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a relevant role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient financial management software
• Ability to strategize and solve problems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• CPA is a strong advantage.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) preferred.

Compensation:

• Starting salary of $75,000 for the first six months, with a performance-based renegotiation of terms to follow.
