Job Description
THE BENEFITS AND ONBOARDING COORDINATOR is responsible for the support administration of all benefits and onboarding related functions for Solis team members, physicians and contractors. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; the role impacts the long-term viability of the company by supporting the Human Resources Team to provide outstanding service to all Solis team members.
RESULTS MEASURE BY THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:
BENEFITS
- Reconcile benefit deductions to participant enrollment and provides findings to Benefits Manager each month and follows up to resolve discrepancies
- Process monthly benefits billing, ensure timely payment to carriers and conduct monthly reconciliation of invoices
- Distribute of ID cards, enrollment confirmations and conversion notices
- Process eligibility reports/census files to send to the carriers
- Respond to employee benefit questions and assist with troubleshooting/researching to resolve various benefits or claims issues as they arise
- Communicate with carriers to resolve issues
- Stay abreast of Solis’ benefits program offerings and plan requirements. Maintain a deep understanding of how they work and ability to explain them clearly to others.
- Assist with reviewing/auditing payroll and benefit yearend tax statements
- Review and administer ACA eligibility and enrollment monthly
- Stay current on changing Federal and State regulations and legislation that may affect employee benefits
- Assist with Leave Administration
- Review and approve benefit enrollments and transactions in ADP, ensuring accuracy of data, adequate documentation, and that enrollments meet all eligibility requirements
- Assist in planning and coordinating the annual Open Enrollment events, new or revised programs, special events, etc.
- Support the Benefits Manager with department projects as needed
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
ONBOARDING
- Act as process manager for onboarding of all new hires and ensure accuracy of data entered in ADP
- Review New Hires in ADP Onboarding system and approve for clearance to start employment
- Review onboarding process for completeness of documents and set up in ADP Payroll
- Work with appropriate recruiter for missing documents/content/information
- Serve as backup to payroll specialist in overseeing I-9 process
ADMINISTRATION
- Reviews, composes, and/or revises miscellaneous payroll/HRIS reports as needed;
- Conduct the EEOC report on an annual basis.
- Responds to unemployment claims
TEAM
- Builds positive, professional relationships with team members;
- Maintains confidentiality of team member information 100% of the time;
- Meets with Manager on a weekly basis to review projects and needs;
- Brings issues and recommended solutions to Benefits Manager within 24 hours;
- Provides administrative support to the HR Team on as needed basis.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred;
- Minimum two years of HR and/or benefits experience with 500+ employees preferred;
- ADP WFN and Essential Time and Attendance preferred;
- Strong computer skills required;
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required;
- Strong desire to serve the internal and external customer;
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills;
- Energetic and flexible;
