They are looking for Senior Software Engineers with a passion for solving tough problems, building scalable and maintainable code as well as are comfortable with the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing startup. Their engineering team is a highly collaborative environment where they look for individuals who share their knowledge and learnings with each other.

Responsibilities:

• Confidently ship features and improvements to their suite of products in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to assist in troubleshooting product operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues. This offers you great exposure to their clients' needs and user perspectives.
• Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.
• Mentor Software Engineers while building for scale and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Significant professional experience with Ruby on Rails, or another dynamic backend language.
• Significant professional experience with JavaScript and frontend technologies such as React.
• Proven track record of building well-designed systems that have a high level of automated testing.
• Demonstrates ability to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical and/or organizational matters. Regularly achieves consensus with peers.
• Comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.
• High sense of ownership and accountability for your projects and responsibilities.
• Experience collaborating with departments and peers, we do not work in silos.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Providing highly effective code reviews and peer support.
• Full knowledge of Agile. You should be comfortable and know your way around working within projects, sprints and the mechanics involved with it.
