A downtown Toronto technology company with a mission to help people save in bitcoin is currently looking to grow their development team. This company has a suite of services that are currently comprised of 3 core products: dollar loans backed by bitcoin, bitcoin savings account, and B2X. They have built a technology and operational stack that allows for real-time proof of bitcoin reserves, on-chain, which provides unprecedented transparency for bitcoin financial services.

They build software in an agile manner deploying to production often. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing their client and administration web applications. They are focused on business automation and improved user journey. Obsession with security is paramount and they are always looking to improve and close any gaps. You will work with the broader team to strategize and implement technical solutions to grow and advance the business. Finally, mobile development, particularly with React Native, is an asset as they expand their offering to mobile (iOS and Android).

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with JavaScript
• Strong experience with Node.js and GraphQL
• Strong experience with React and React Native
• Strong experience with MongoDB or NOSQL
• Extensive experience with AWS (specifically Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, AppSync, CloudWatch and CloudTrail, SQS, SNS)
• You should be full-stack, you are comfortable with front-end, back-end and anything in between

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year
