My client is an online video platform built for business. Their free video creation and hosting solution is trusted by thousands of organizations across the globe, from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, to get their business videos online. They're backed by powerful video analytics, security features, and integrations with other business tools, their platform makes video easy for marketing, sales, support, and communication teams.

They're looking for a Tech Lead to join their growing team. Reporting directly to a Director, Engineering you will play a strategic role in pushing their technology forward. Technologies like RTMP, WebRTC, and HLS play a key role in their online video platform and allow them to serve live video to customers around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic developer, tech leader and SME within the Engineering organization for real-time communication technologies.

• Work closely with Engineering Leaders to plan and develop short and long-term architectural strategy.

• Act as an advisor to other leaders when planning projects involving real-time communication technologies.

• Own, maintain and develop strategies for repositories and how they interact.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Developer

• Expertise in WebRTC, Live streaming, ARTPM, Amazon IVS, Agora, or Mux is strongly preferred

• Previous experience with direct or indirect leadership of people, process, projects or technology

• Passion for continued learning and staying current in the latest technologies and developments within the industry

• A strong desire to make a huge impact in a high-velocity startup environment
