Solo is looking for a talented Marketing Content Copywriter to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll be joining a small but mighty team of writers, thinkers, and storytellers to deliver a variety of content that engages our target audience and enhances our brand. You’ll be working alongside other professionals, each with different strengths, who collaborate, share, and learn from each other every day.
You'll bring a mix of creativity and superior writing skills to develop valuable and concise content and strategic deliverables. You’ll also need a deep understanding of storytelling and marketing and how best to use those skills in email copy, landing-page content, and more. You’re passionate about the Oxford Comma.
You must be deadline focused, goal oriented, and have stellar written and verbal communication skills. This role reports to the Product Marketing Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write and edit clear, concise copy and branded communications, including blogs, email campaigns, landing pages, video scripts, ad copy, in-app messages, and more
Produce original, jargon-free, and high-value copy
Be accountable for the final development of creative assets
Help refine the brand voice and build Solo’s brand and editorial style
Collaborate with others on the team to further develop our content marketing strategy, from ideation to execution
Contribute to the content planning and concept development of a wide variety of marketing campaigns
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams inside and outside of marketing, including product management, engineering, and design
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years in copywriting, content marketing, or SEO positions
Experience writing email campaigns, web copy, and in-app copy
Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing, or equivalent experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being highly organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
Strong portfolio of writing samples that show a range of topics, length, and voice (i.e. email, social, blog, web, longform etc.)
