Job Description

 QUALIFICATIONS :

• BS in Accounting, Masters Preferred 
• 10+ years of experience in Accounting 
• 7+ years of experience in a management role within a manufacturing environment (required) 
• 3+ years overseeing and leading Administration and IT
• Cost Accounting 
• Strong leadership and communication A MUST
• ERP (Avante a plus)
• Proficient with MS Office - especially MS Excel advanced functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups etc)
• Continual improvement mindset
• GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead and manage the accounting, and IT team
• Serves as a member of the Leadership Team
• Participates in monthly Leadership Team meetings and other scheduled meetings.
• Oversees all Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cost accounting asset management, FP&A, General Ledger, and administrative processes
• Responsible for the costing system, including the establishment of standards, accumulation of actual costs and analysis, and explanation of variances
• Ensure that the Company's financial processes are compliant with US GAAP and IFRS
• Coordinate internal month-end closing, quarterly and annual reporting under strict guidelines.
• Ensure that all published monthly, quarterly, and annual Corporate reporting deadlines are met
• Perform a monthly review of Business Unit financial statements and ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled to sub-ledgers, cash flow reports and schedules of department costs. Compares these reports against financial plan
• Prepares periodic quarterly forecasts
• Prepare and submit financial reporting to the Leadership Team and Corporate Finance
• Oversees the preparation and validation of annual capital and operating plan and multiyear strategic plan financial forecasts.
