Job Description

Qualifications:

• BS/MS (PhD) in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry
• Experience working in the Biotechnology, Life Science industry in a product development role – 5+ years
• Familiarity with molecular diagnostic techniques using real-time PCR, qPCR
• Hands-on experience in data cleaning, data transformation, data analysis, data modeling, Classifier
• Predictive modeling skills using techniques such as KNN, Decision Tree, Naïve Bayes
• Strong programming skills – C++, Python, Java
• Experience with Matlab, JMP, R, SPSS
• Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements – ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 11, 510K

Responsibilities:

• Organize and data mine clinical data to assess the performance of clinical tests
• Work closely with scientists and engineers with data analysis & experimental design
• Develop software and analysis pipelines for data mining large datasets and auto generation of reports
• Develop classification algorithms and model data
• Perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate and communicate with various teams and business units
