Job Description

As a Test Engineer, you will develop test scripts for automated test systems to calibrate high-precision manufacturing tools. You will gain experience working on projects for customers in the industrial equipment, automotive, and aerospace industries.  Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field
• Candidate must have LabView programming proficiency
• Experience with Raspberry Pi and Python programming is an advantage
• Must have experience creating programs for electromechanical equipment
• Ability to program encoders for motors
• Statistical analysis of data sets from test equipment
• Familiar with standard communication protocols, networking applications
• Familiar with common hardware electronic components

Responsibilities:

• Programming test for new and existing electromechanical test equipment
• Develop LabView code that drives motor to generate torque, capture torque curve and record peak value until desired number of cycles has been met
• Analyze data sets to verify test equipment is performing and capturing results properly
• Collaborate with cross-functional team on optimizing product performance based on customer applications
