Located in Houston, Texas, Solugen has recently started-up a first-of-its-kind carbon-negative manufacturing facility - The BioforgeTM - that uses a novel chemienzymatic technology to manufacture bio-based chemistries for a wide range of applications, including water treatment, agriculture, personal care, and other applications. Solugen currently has 100+ full-time employees.

    MISSION 

    Solugen's mission is to decarbonize chemicals manufacturing. As a first step, Solugen has built its first 10 KTA commercial plant with the potential to offset up to 37,000 tpy of carbon dioxide equivalents. This role will help define the baseline framework that will directly support Solugen's short-term goals and growth over the next 5 years. 

    Reporting to the Sr. Director, Supply Chain, this role will be responsible for designing and maintaining the ERP framework that drives the Supply Chain/ Manufacturing/ QHSE/ Logistics/ Sourcing/ Procurement/ Accounting/ Finance/ Commercial teams. This person will work diligently with the leaders of those departments to ensure that our ERP data is organized and maintained in a way that most efficiently and consistently meets the demands of our customers (internal and external). 

    The Supply Chain Data Management Specialist will have overall responsibility for the in-house ERP data framework/master data entry/reporting and eventual data warehousing. They will also be crucial for future implementations and integrations as Solugen grows. 

    KEY OUTCOMES 

    1. Help create the baseline framework for our ERP system objects. 
    2. Support multiple departments as the ERP SME to enhance ERP transaction efficiency and reporting visibility. 
    3. Lead projects for items not currently in use in the ERP system but should be such as: S&OP Demand Planning/MRP, BOLs, Quality, Standard Cost, Various Reporting Tools.
    4. Create and deploy training documentation to end users on NetSuite modifications.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Bachelor's degree required.
    2. At least 2 years of manufacturing ERP experience required.
    3. ERP implementation experience around order to cash and plan to produce preferred.
    4. Effective communication and team building skills.
